Mid price places to eat around Mong Kok

We will be staying in the Mong Kok area in May. I would like some recommendations for reasonably priced places to eat. We would rally like to try out as many local dishes as we can. What would be a good place to go for dim sum? Is it safe to eat from the food stalls.?Also could someone let me know the cost od high tea at the Peninsula. Thank you

Go to the Knutsford Terrace area any cab can take you there. There is a huge variety of eateries and clubs. The best food we had in HK was along the terrace and it is all inexpensive . Most have outdoor seating as well and the people watching is great. I would also suggest eating at Lucy%26#39;s in the Stanley Market an incredible place to eat and it is right by the entrance to Stanley Market. I would skip high tea at the Penn I was not impressed the tea at the Intercontiental Hotel across the street was better and cheaper.

If you stay in Mongkok, the last thing you need to worry about is where to eat. You can have a bowl of noodles from HK$10 to $2x for a McDonald set meal. Lots of local eat at the food stalls, but you might want to be careful as tourist always have naughty stomach due to change of climate, water, etc.

There are quite a numbers of dim sum places at Grand Century Plaza, which is right on top of Mongkok KCR station.

You could also try the Langham Place Mall food court on the 4th floor. Very reasonable prices and a great building. Tallest building in Mongkok. Follow signs for Langham Place Mall from MTR.
