Hotels in Beijing

I have some dudes with hotels.

First of all I have booked Novotel Peace Hotel but I麓m not sure that the hotel is O.K.

Could you recomend me a good hotel four or five stars location in Wangfujing Street?

Has the hotels offers?

I麓ll go from 2nd of april until 7th of april.

I麓ll see the Peninsula Hotel it has good offers on internet.

Did you look at the Trip Advisor hotel recommendations.. In the Wangfujing both the Peninsula and Grand Hyatt are supposed to be tops... we are going in March and staying at the Peninsula. You might also try the Holiday Inn Central Plaza (although not in the area).. All these hotels are rated excellently by several guide books and Trip Advisor.

Novotel Peace is not bad,locates opposite of Penisular hotel.

And how about the Crowne Plaza hotel is better than Novotel Peace?

We visited Bejing last Nov and stayed at the Novotel and found its location very good. We were initially provided with a twin room instead of the Double Non-Smoking that we booked. When we got moved it was unfortunately to a smoking room. Something to be avoided if you want a non-smoking room. As we were only staying 2 nights we put up with it. We found the best price for hotel was from its own website and booked there.

prior to arrival we had organised for the Hotel to book us train tickets to Shanghai. The tickets were waiting for us on arrival and were cheaper than other means of obtaining them.

As is mentioned in other posts we utilised a hire car to visit the wall and the Ming tombs and couldn%26#39;t have been happier with the service and price. We approached one of the cars at the front of the hotel and negotiated ourselves. In fact the price asked was so fair that I didn%26#39;t bargin. 500RMB I think including tolls for the day.

As we liked to walk alot we found the location to be great.

This hotel is in a great location. It is not 5 star - probably 4 star. The 5 star peninsula is opposite.

We%26#39;ve booked 4 nights at the Lu Song Yuan Hotel in Beijing for March based on Trip Advisor, Rough guide, and DK Eyewitness Travel Guides recommendations. Keep your fingers crossed.
