Mosquito's

Beijing, Xian, Yangtze cruise, Shanghai, Hong Kong............do we need malaria tablets? Our tour brochure has an M in brackets in with all the recommended vaccination, which to me implies that we should take something. (Malarone maybe).

Is this correct?

Mosquito's

No need. Unless if you%26#39;re a hypochondriac.

We too are going to same destinations and we have been told by our Travel Clinic at University Hospital that YES we DO NEED to take Malaria tablets! You may wish to check with your local University Travel Clinic or your healthcare provider.

With the exception of the border areas between China and Vietnam/Laos, the rest of China post no significant risk for malaria. For major cities, the risk of taking Malarone is greater than getting malaria. Cheers.
