the air is very fresh and nice in Guilin area and you can find out many small, clean and nice hotel in Guilin, or Yangshuo.

The country side around Yangshuo is unpolluted and yes the air is fresh just as it is in any rural area without heavy industry.
What sort of money do you want to spend per night on a room and what standard room do you want? I would guess for a months accomodation you would qualify for a discount over the prices offered which are for short term stays
