Hong Kong September

I am considering a trip to Hong Kong in September. I have been getting mixed reviews about weather for this time of year. Has anyone travelled to Hong Kong in September before that can easy my nerves.

many thanks !!

Hong Kong September

We were in HK the last week in September and the weather was perfect every day.

Hong Kong September

The reason for getting mixed reviews is because one reviewer could get consecutive hot and sunny days for the whole duration of stay, but another reviewer also got lots of rain. That is a typical summer climate in Sept.

Kingart55 %26amp; Tin; thanks you both for your replies. I will hopefully book this trip soon, can%26#39;t wait. Hong Kong sounds like my kind of town.

We stayed there for 4 nights last September. It was ovecast one day and it rained a little bit but the rest of the time it was lovely weather and it was still really warm on an evening.

Avoid first few days of September for the possibility of Typhoon. My fight was cancelled once because of this; and it was no fun trying to get to the airport early next morning. Temperature would be within 2 degrees of 29 Celcius all the way till mid November. For the rest throw in all the noncommital jargon from the weatherman and keep your fingers cross. If it happens to rain throughout your stay, feel at home (that was what I had on visiting the Ring of Kerry) and blame it on global warming. For a Canadian 29 C is too warm to be comfortable; but touring HK means you will be spending most of your time under cover and chilled by over-zealous air-conditioning, to the point that it is advisable to have an outerwear handy.
