We will be travelling to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai and Hangzhou in July. We love Cheung Chau but will not have time to come to Hong Kong this trip, is there anywhere we could do a side trip to from our main bases - doesn%26#39;t have to be an island but maybe coastal?

suggest you also post yr Q in the Shanghai forum as there%26#39;s a very nice girl (the Shanghai Kate Tam!!!?) who replies a lot for mainland Q.
