Do you think that this hotel is too oft the beaten path for shopping and dining. I am a single female traveller so my concern is more returning to the hotel later in the evening. (safety being the issue).

Grand Staford Intercontinental Hotel
It is located in Tsim Sha Tsui East near Hung Hom KCR train station. Not really locate in downtown but still convenient to go sightseeing and shopping. The area is safe really , just many clubs nearby
