Near the YMCA Salisbury, is Canton Road. You can either go into the Harbour City Shopping center.. a huge shopping complex that stretches the WHOLE of Canton road, lots of dining options there for families, all kinds of cuisines, casual to formal, food courts to cafes, to steakhouse, to Australian cuisines......

Anyways, you also can go to Peking No. 1, also on Canton Road....

And silvercord center, and along the Canton road is the infamous Sweet Dynasty that is moving (expanding) a few stores down the road on Canton Road end of March.. bigger and nicer I guess.

Also Cousins%26#39; (is opened there across Prince hotel) I love their milk tea, wonton noodles, toast, and rice rolls.

In Toy house, there are TONS of wonderful Japanese cuisines.... I am there once a week... it%26#39;s that delicious.

If you walk further in behind the YMCA, there is Ashley Road, with a TON of dining options... my personal favorite is in a tiny street, near Ashley Road, in there is Munch a very good organic/fusion/western small cafes that has very good and fresh food.

Have a great time.

If your kids are as fussy as mine then you%26#39;ll love Dan Ryan%26#39;s in Ocean Terminal. Nothing remotely Chinese about it but plenty of burgers, nachos etc! There are also fast food outlets all around which I know is awful and terrible when you%26#39;re doing Asia but sometimes you need these things!

Don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;ve been to the The Salisbury/YMCA before or not - we were there last year and had a family suite overlooking the harbour. The best value for money! This was before the laser show had started but it was still great.

Lots of great restaurants up on the Peak as well. You%26#39;ll have to prebook though. And also plenty to appeal to all on the seafront at Stanley Market. There%26#39;s also Lucy%26#39;s at Stanley which is well hidden away but lovely (full of ladies who lunch!).

To get from The Salisbury to YMCA wil take you a good hour. 5 minute walk to ferry terminal, 6 minutes on Star Ferry and then take the number 6 bus to Stanley (don%26#39;t take a taxi, the bus is way more fun).

Sorry too much info but I love Hong Kong!
