1 day in xian - suggestions

We are in Xian in March for 3 nights so have 2 clear days.

On day One we have hired a private local guide who comes well recommended by fellow trip advisors and has been very helpfull to us.

This leaves One day - we plan to hire a tandem bike and have some fun cycling round the city walls. What else do you suggest. We are not big on museums unless its a particularly special one. Is the show still on at the Big wild goose pagoda each evening ?

The day we have free is a Sunday - is anything special on ? Is the Tang Dynasty worth a visit bearing in mind we will be doing kung fu show in Beijing and acrobat show in Shanghai. Is Muslem area worth a visit in evening - is South gate area lively at night ?

Where is the guide already taking you on the 1st day?

The Shaanxi Provincial History Museum IS very good, so you should really include that.

Yes, the Muslim Quarter is worth visiting in the evening, but also in the daytime.

Thank you for you kind help in this and the other trip advisor fortunes - we will be going to the terracotta warriers, cave dwellers and temple along with a local lunch - there will be no stopping at shopping outlets.
