Has anybody eaten here? If so what is it like and what sort of prices would you expect to pay? We will be arriving at the renaissance harbour view after a 12 hour flight at around 7pm, so are wanting somewhere close by to eat. Ideally want to eat Chinese food in a nice laid back atmosphere.

Not expensive, but not good food. It%26#39;s just in the HK convention center.....

If you are staying in Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, the BEST (my favorite restaurant- I am there every week, was there everyday last week..hahaha)..... restaurant to eat is Dynasty. It%26#39;s really good food, nice harbourview at night. It%26#39;s pricey though. For dinner, two people, expect to pay $ 800 HKD for two. But it%26#39;s going to be a delicious meal with excellent service too.

There are also nearby places along Harbour Road.... just ask the Concierge.

Thanks - Dynasty sounds like a plan. Is there anyway of booking a table by email - as we%26#39;ve booked our room with asiarooms, so they won%26#39;t have our details til we arrive. It would also be nice to book a table with a harbour view?

What are your recommendation?

Also the $800 -does that include drinks, if not what sort of prices would we expect to pay?

The only thing I can think of is use ';contact us'; and inform them you need a window table for whatever date and whatever time.

But, unless you are there on weekends or special holidays, it%26#39;s usually not crowded, and a table is available for sure, but window tables, yes, usually taken, by frequent customers....

If you arrive around 7:00pm, I think by the time you get to the restaurant after check in... must be almost 10:00pm.....

Our flight arrives at 5pm so hopefully we can eat around 8-8.30. It will be a Saturday when we arrive, so may be best to book

One of these days, I will scream out your name in the middle of Dynasty and perhaps you will be around! I don%26#39;t frequent there as much as you do, but my parents, in-laws, uncles and friends of theirs are there every week, sometimes 3 days in a row!
