Trip Advice (Xian)

Hi All,

My fiance and I are planning to visit China next month (2 Mar - 12 Mar) and we are hoping someone might be able to assist us with our planning. We will be visiting Shanghai, Xian and Beijing.

Can you please have a look at our plans for Shanghai and let me know what you think? We enjoy sightseeing, local history, food, and are hoping to get the most out of this trip. If there are places you would recommend we visit that I have left out, please let us know. Or if you think that we have not got enough time OR too much time in a specific location etc., please let us know. Oh, if you could recommend any restaurants (for breakfast, lunch or dinner), please let us know (Just a personal preference and no offence meant - please do not recommend any place that serves anything other than beef, pork, poultry, fish, vegan). Thinking of the Bell Tower hotel atm ... what do you think?

With hotels, please recommend hotels within the 3.5 star - 4.5 star hotel comfort level. Thnx! :-)

Trip Advice (Xian)

No need to take the CITS tour, go on your own.

What%26#39;s your budget like for accommodation?

I%26#39;m a bit overwhelmed here with the amount of questions to answer (catching up on backlog for %26gt;1 week) so you might want to email me directly at ellyse99@yahoo.com if you still need my opinions/recommendations/suggestions -- please put ';TripAdvisor dodgyr'; in the subject line so that I don%26#39;t junk your email by mistake, thanks. :)

You can travel independently. Seems that you have two days? (I recomment leave xian for beijing by overnight train, check train schedule at http://www.adventurechinatrip.com/chinatrain.asp). Two days are enough for normal sightseeing in xian, you don%26#39;t need to arrange everything so rigidly. If have any questions, just feel to contact me at lihongrui@gmail.com.

Cheers
