Thinking of joining this tour 8澶╃粡鍏哥宸炴父 to China in end of May. http://www.echinatours.com/promotion/01.html

Anyone have experience with this travel agent, China Travel Service Int%26#39;l USA, and/or joined this tour before?

Any comment/advice will be appreciated.

since you can read chinese, you have a lot of choices. The only thing I can say is this company is using a name very similar to the long established and quasi-govermental agency China Travel Service . CTSI also claim they have branches all over Canada/US(which is not true). Why they do that, I have no idea.

If you can understand Chinese, DIY instead.

In fact most people from HK and overseas Chinese do *not* DIY, as they can read and know about all the nasty stuff.

Thank for the info. I%26#39;m from Florida, here don%26#39;t have much Chinese travel agency, that I know of. So my only way is search online. I never join China tour before so don%26#39;t know which agency is good and is there anything that I need to aware of.

I will appreciate it if any can provide me a list of good travel agency and China tour program for the first time visitor to China.

Do a search on the forum. The 2 quasi-government agencies with offices in the US are http://www.chinatravelservice.com/ and http://www.citsusa.com/

Perhaps it%26#39;s even better if you join the tours in HK, much cheaper, if you are taking the Cantonese tours. In fact the tour can be cheaper than you booking airfare+hotel leaving from HK.
