My husband and I will be visiting Panyu end-Mar and staying till the 1st week of April.
Would appreciate assistance/information on the following:
1) What is the best way to travel from Baiyun Airport to Panyu?
2) Any recommendation on 2/3 star hotels in Panyu (approx US$ 30 or thereabouts)? Would like to know about security at such accommodation and proximity to tourist attractions, etc.
3) Is there a night safari zoo in Panyu? If yes, where is it located?
4) Any recommendation of places to visit outside of Panyu?
5) Is travelling via the metro convenient and cheap?
6) Are there some sort of one-day unlimited type of tickets available when travelling on the metro?
7) How far Baiyun Airport to Panyu %26amp; what is the travel time via the different transportation (taxi, metro, etc.)?

Panyu Visit - March/April 071) Assuming cost-efficiency then I would recommend airport shuttle no.7, departs every half hour 0700--2335.
3) Safari zoo yes, not sure about nighttime.
5) Does the metro even go to Panyu???
